
1.07 BEHAVIOR -- PSYCHOLOGY ABUSE TERMS, CONCEPTS==== Behavior MEANING: Actions, words, style of interacting, method of doing things including communicating. While behavior seems like a fifty cent word when a twenty-five cent word will do, it accurately describes a range of things that are done. RELEVANCE TO ABUSE: Behavior is a nonjudgmental word. When an abuser says, "You must think I am a bad person after what you said," the best response is to say, "I don't think you are a bad person, however, I would like you to change your behavior in some situations."
